Can't Find Great HITs? 5/31 Fast Talking / Frylock Friday (GIF Overdose)

If you would have heard me, I found these forums a meer 2 to 3 hours ago. I am new to this. I wasnt trying to be rude or disrespectful to the forums. Hell, I just signed up.

So basically, this happened "Hey, welcome to the forums. Oh you have an opinion and are new so you dont know our stance on this? **** you. ban." Way to treat the community....

 

eh the chat is not an official chat of this forum, as you can see by the fact that you are here. posting. on this forum.

 

everyone was nice to me and im new too... so im guessing the results are atypical depending on the individual o.0?

Let me just put it into perspective for you.

I found a place where people seem to be working with each other. I mention ive been posting HITs on reddit since I started and was looking for another place. So in essence, I am a contributor to this community. And within 5 minutes of talking to a few regulars, I am banned for asking a question about how the forums work.

So, you just banned someone who was going to help feed this community. And instead of trying to let me know "whats up", you insult me with retarded GIFs. Lovely. I will gladly continue to lurk and take these HITs WITHOUT contributing.


And yes, I know tinychat isn't part of these forums. And I understand what i may have said/asked was over the line. But that chat was full of regulars including Andy. That atmosphere is obviously conveyed in these forums.

 

please, Andy was not in the chat.

eta: AND, before you started ranting about the negatives of the community 5 minutes into your stay, people were trying to help you.

But lol don't worry, I'll just post the HITs you post on reddit on here.

 

There's an element of luck also. There's no reason why a question gets asked multiple times on the same day but when that happens the third or fourth person to ask it gets a negative reaction. It's just human nature. For the most part this forum is very friendly to new people. Plus the chat isn't part of this forum. It's just something zingy set up on his own and it's not a regular thing. AFAIK he's only done it once before.

 

Oh excuse me, I didnt think people from these forums would lie about being the owner of these forums while regulars are in the chatroom. You'd think someone would correct him.

 

I did, you asked who the owner of the forum was and I said Tom from Myspace. Did you see Tom from Myspace in the chatroom?

I know this now. But someone in the tinychat said they were the owner.


And I wasn't ranting about the negatives. I asked very bluntly "why is there no separation in the forums between HIT posts and regular b.s." and someone replied "because of the atmosphere" and as I begin to say I agree with them, its refreshing. BAN. And this proves my point. I was banned because I didnt read through 170+ pages of b.s. Maybe if I would have read through the 300+ posts from today, i might have seen someone mention this...MAYBE.

Really mature.


And reebs, I wasnt looking at the text, I was listening to people talking. Someone said "I am the owner" and there was a reply "he runs the forums"

 

Is it a full moon tonight or something? I logged in this morning and it was like all the crazy drama llama was poured into one single thread and then stirred with an icicle made of hate and baby tears.... and it hasn't stopped... ALL DAY LONG.

As I said in response to moonlitesunbrite you just got unlucky. And it's not something that's going to stick with you past today. If you sleep on it and come back I think you'll find this forum very pleasant.

It seems to me that this community is filled with assholes. I mean...Ive only been here a few hours and look at whats happens. And when I try to figure out why, I get all of these smart ass responses.

 

Just stop. It's early. Come back later and it'll be fine.
