woohoo!! I was wondering when this would happen lol.. my first time with this requester.. I tried to do some now but can't.. guess there is a cut off point. Thats ok a little money is better than no money!

Those are CrowdSource HITs. And we are all cut off when we reach the limit. Due to the nature of what they are doing everyone can only do so many. I was able to do over 40 when I first started though.... Now - when they have new ones - I get to do 8-24 most times.

Good HITs! Have fun! Easy $0.16 or $0.12 depending on which ones you are doing!


***There is another limit you will run against. As a new Turker you are only allowed approx. 100 total HITs per day and this includes abandoned and returned HITs. So keep that one in mind. My understanding is that this has been different for other people but for me it was 100 most days. After your first 10 days in a row of Turking that limit goes away!***

 

Random though/question...How many HITs are there in between Captchas (sp?)?

 

That also seems to be different for some people. Sometimes I have had it after 2 and sometimes not until 20 or more. I wonder if it is more time based or stats based? I'm sure Amazon is not going to give out the algorithm.

 

For these Catherine HITs when y'all get a person do you classify it as other? I've been returning them.. I've actually been hesitant to do these because I'm so close to 10k and I don't want any mass rejects but everyone keeps touting her HITs so I finally decided to give a few a try.

 

Well, I guess that makes sense...I have noticed it varies with me and was just wondering how it did other people...

 

The one time I got a person who was not the owner of his own medical/legal practice, I just left it blank and put in the comment box that it was a person, not a business.

 

I put other depending on what they are offering, then in the space provided explain why I picked that. She has been good with not rejecting, as long as you don't do crap work.. thats why if it is iffy I put an explanation just to be safe

Yeah, I saw the limit of 100 for my first 10 days. All that tells me is to choose my hits wisely today!!! I've gotten a few good surveys but I'm trying to only do the ones that TO have reviews for because it would suck if 40+ of my hits dont go through!!
