Today is off to a great start. Not only is my desktop playing up, my wonderful centurylink service is dropping all the time, I've only just managed to get on line and I've been trying since 8.30 They say a tech will be here by 11 am but we'll see. I set up my laptop as a backup just in case and my cat jumped up and started digging at the keys, pulling off V and it just won't go back in properly. Looks like I missed Heather, PDRI, and as soon as I set my C4C GTRI came up with 2 hits so I obviously missed a batch there. On the plus side - this day can only get better.
Facts aren't open to belief. It's a slap in the face to the victims of the tragedy to suggest their own government or [insert any non-sensical conspiratorial group] were behind it. It diminishes the level of tragedy of the event when people take the issue and exploit it for their own purpose. That counts for politicians, hokesters, and truthers alike.
One of the most banal, pseudo-intellectual platitudes around. Skepticism is a healthy pursuit-- except when you deny facts and concoct hypothesis with little to no basis in reality.
Probably not supposed to ask this, but in the Social Computing Group video HITs, if the person is wearing sunglasses, do you mark it yes for wearing glasses or no? Cause they aren't wearing regular glasses, but it also doesn't specify which type of glasses?
Yeah, but it is a bit naive to think that there are no other possibilities than what we directly see. I think the grand daddy of all conspiracies to reference to that would be JFK. Even today we don't really know exactly what happened but I think it is highly ridiculous to believe it was one man. I mean granted I'm pretty apathetic to all these happenings in general (Not to say I don't sympathize with the victims, I just am a little desensitized like most others). Even if we did find some horrific, undoubted evidence to what is suspected, would anything really be done? Hard to say.
Hahaha...I had just barely woken up before I did the same thing. I think I need a nap too. Or more coffee...can't decide which
Please stop, you're hurting my brain. If you wish to honor/respect people who died on this day, please do so in silence or peace, not arguing.
