Thank you. Hearing you say that you accept the HIT first means that my worldview can remain essentially intact. To me, it means that you know how MTurk works, and they don't. (I am never one to use the term well-meaning as an unalloyed compliment, but it's easier to deal with negligence than malice). Why they don't simply put a 4-hour limit on the thing is beyond me. (I know that people hoard the long-tailed HITs for a while, but I can't see how it would hurt me if I were a Requester on this sort of thing). But I am happy to defer that question for some other day.

Ugh, I returned that rather than risk a rejection. Can you PM me the email to get in contact? I finished the survey so she has my data, which should include my worker ID. Maybe she'll pay me by a private hit or bonus instead?
Unless they need it quick (DOUBT IT) they dont need to put low timers. Some are just assholes though.
I was HAMing the Leffel HITs, going along great guns, and all of a sudden my qual was revoked. I wrote to the requester, but I don't know if I'll hear back. I had marked quite a few of the ones I saw as not being done properly because they had typos, left out important info (like a size or model number), left in stuff like VHTF (common abbreviation for "very hard to find" and supposed to be removed as per HIT instructions). About half of the ones I did have already approved. That's why I was HAMing on them. Was I doing them wrong? Anybody else get their qual revoked mid-HIT?

I did about seven Leffel's before I got my qual revoked as well. All seven approved though within the 15 minute AA.
