when i don't have an id i just look them up on turkopticon. the ID is listed below their name on there
The $0.13 CrowdFlower sentence conversions seem to be nice. Take me about a minute each... https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview...wdFlower&hitId=2A85R98D8J3VMZ1VJNEYGG3N9YYVFN
is cf really strict with these categorization things? there are many that could be interpreted in different ways, i wonder if you get one wrong out of the 6 or so on each do they reject you?
Complete a quick survey! Requester: Yan Experiment Lab Reward: $0.40 per HIT HITs Available: 1 Duration: 25 minutes Qualifications Required: HIT approval rate (%) is not less than 94, Location is US TO isn't too bad, but not perfect - Should take 6-8 minutes according to the requester. Edit: Took me 9 minutes
CF doesn't reject as far as I know. They will eventually just start barraging you with subjective QC questions and cut you off, but they will still pay you for the ones submitted.
ok thanks for the info, i've done almost 100 and it says my accuracy is 100% but i figure that's impossible so maybe they're not tracking it for this task edit: ah, it's only tracking certain questions but i'm 35/35! w00t
this is why I stay away from any categorizing hits at all cost. They are too risky and especially from crowdflower.
CrowdFlower I've never had a rejection, but I've had like 90-100% ratings before and then magically dropped to below 60% and was blocked from working on that task anymore.
My rating never drops from 100% yet they claim that I got some questions wrong. Still at least they pay within a day.

yeah you guys should get in on this, they were posted a few pages back, 13 cents a pop, takes 30-40 seconds for each once you know the categories still 400+ left, or so it says, i find that # is often wrong in both directions and most of them are really easy, chances are the test questions are among the easy ones
