Anyone else have any issues with the hotel HITs being rejected for shit that's NOT in the directions? Like... "Again, please include information reflecting the fact that this is no longer a Baymont Inn, but an Americas Best Value Inn." I sent her a message... because a) she didn't fucking tell me that shit. and b) I was ON the hotel's website and IT didn't say any of that shit- even on for that exact location.... ...grumble grumble grumble....
haha fan-freakin-tastic, i just submitted one without referencing the hotel's former identity. she really, really needs to get her shit together and explain everything in her rules better. i'm thinking of emailing her through one of her websites or using other info i can find, since it doesn't seem possible to get a response from her on mturk.
I did one for Baymont Inn last night as well. I didn't know we were supposed to do research on the Hotels. I thought we were supposed to take and rewrite what was already there. Why do they call it rewrites if they want you to research and write something with totally different info?
I stopped doing them around 4 oclock last night. started again 2 hours ago and am still getting the captchas

OK, thanks. Guess I'm not alone in captcha-land. Weird thing is, when I try to use the extensions that were recommended for chrome, when I pull up the hit, it says I'm not qualified. But in firefox, I've been working on them just fine, except for having to type in captchas. Guess I'm not going to break 5000 today after all. Bummer. But I appreciate all the help everyone has given me, especially Blazed, to try and make the extensions work.
Okay, I just refreshed my dashboard and I have a rejection for one. This is what she says: "The information provided in the original article was wrong. While it is about the Days Inn Philadelphia Airport location, the information provided to you was for a hotel in Minnesota. Please provide applicable information from the Days Inn Philadelphia Airport. " Yeah, about to write her a piece of mind. Don't tell me to rewrite an article that YOU SUBMITTED and then tell me that YOU GAVE ME the wrong info. The instructions doesn't say to google and make sure every word is correct. Or that the hotel is correct. This bitch is smoking crack, and I'm about to leave negative TO.
i just sent her a rather lengthy explanation of our feelings about these hits... hopefully it makes a difference, but i'm not holding my breath.
Sorry to hear it didn't work out for you..If there were more Mike L HITs, I would of probably made a video as last resort to help your problem...but Mike HIT is going down fast.

I need a real email address. The form on mturk isn't long enough. She needs to learn how to explain her hits. Between this and everything sasquach has been experiencing, it makes me wonder if she isn't making up the rules as she goes. She should proof read or check for accuracy before she uploads them. No way should I (or any of yall) be held accountable because the idiot who wrote the original screwed up.
