Definitely should have been masters. What a joke. Can't believe the shit responses he'll get and leave the platform. Most non-masters can't even operate a phone much less use a search engine and decipher the results.
What do you do when, on a transcription HIT, you click on the file link and it tells you that you need permission to access it? I requested permission but I have no idea how long that will take. It's just something I haven't run into yet. I'd think that the requester would leave access open so that people could do it but apparently I think wrong.
Lol because being granted Masters definitely means you are superior in all ways. I've always done thorough, good work and was given Masters randomly. Hell, I haven't even hit 5000 HITs yet, though the ones I do, I do well.
Well, per the amazon t and c, masters workers are the elite and best workers on the platform. They go above and beyond in all aspects of their life, not just turk. I'd imagine it's safe to say most non-masters have an average of a 6th grade education as a whole. There are probably a few exceptions. Remember, there are no requirements for the platform save age. So by choosing non-masters requesters are purposely choosing non-elite workers in an effort to save a few pennies. I've seen firsthand how that can damage not only research but also careers.
Better yet, they should've only been open to US-CA. He's looking for California companies, after all.
