I need some serious help. Is their any hope for me to get Amazon Payment to unsuspend my account? I entered all my information that is asked me for. It asked me to reverify it again. I did. It told me that they couldn't verify my account, and now it was suspended. I have called them, and they told me they would take a look at it and email me...Still couldn't verify it. I fear my account will never be unsuspended since a few months ago I turned 18. I have not had a job yet, and nor have I ever filed taxes. Am I doomed to have a forever (at least till I file taxes) suspended account?
I had to call them. Mine got suspended when I first started. They had me fax my bank statement with my name and current address. It took them a few days but it worked.
So in other words you made an account at 17 while knowing you had to be 18? You won't be able to turk.
When you pick a place where you want to start a thread, there's a button that says +POST NEW THREAD on the top left. Click on that and you should be able to create one and post it.
Is there any way to see how long I have been working overall for a day or week? I know there is a timer going while doing particular HITs, but I was wonder if there is a timer that takes into account all of the time worked? Thanks so much.
Hello! Welcome to the forum! I don't know of a script or anything that exists to tell you your total hours worked. You could note down how long each survey takes and add that up at the end of the day to give you the total?
I'm having trouble with a few of my hits. They are the ones that you are required to submit a 'Survey' code. They then are rejecting my hits, claiming I did not enter the correct Survey code. Two of these sites have not GIVEN me survey codes. One, I reported, the other I submitted with the notice saying "You've completed the survey." Ive messaged these requests and I have gotten no response. With Survey's, it seems it is EASY to say, "Oh, well the code was wrong." and lie about it to get out of payment...what can I do?
Some people take screenshots of the survey codes. It would be hard for the requester to get out of this. I used to do that at the beginning but got lazy and stopped doing that. I have never gotten rejected for "wrong code" but that's always a possibility. I've heard these cases from other workers.
I did about 1800 HITS roughly 5 years ago, I made $88 for the entire year, and quit. I've come back because I need supplementary income badly. So some things are new here. I'm on Firefox 46.0.1 1--One of my HITS expired while I was doing it. I read that I can build a queue to hold onto HITS before they expire. How do I do that? 2--How do I search for a particular requester? 3--I'm averaging only about $1/hour. I know there are techniques I'm not using. 4--I've D/L Turkopticon, but I can't do or understand scripts, so I'm skipping GreaseMonkey. What else is helpful? 5--Don't understand the qualifications. Survey says I'm not qual, so I click on the qual, which says no test is necessary. I navigate back to the HIT, which still says I'm not qual. Some quals ask me to click again, and them tell me I already have that one. Huh?
You can search for a requester's hits from the Hits Page or Your Account page by typing the requester's name in the Containing space and then hit Return. You can refine this search by filling in dollar amount and checking Qualified or Masters, and then click Go. You should use scripts. There are many helpful mturk scripts at https://greasyfork.org/en Click on Scripts and from there click on "mturk.com" in the pink section. To use user scripts, you need to first install a user script manager. For Firefox, the best choice is Greasemonkey. Once you've installed a user script manager, find a script you like on Greasy Fork and click the green Install button. You do not need to understand the programming side of scripts at all. Greasemonkey is an add-on extension to Firefox. Easy to install. There are many forums where scripts are discussed. You can learn a lot from forums. Even reddit has mturk information. Turkopticon is essential for learning a requester's reputation. Must have. Read and learn all you can. There is a learning curve to traverse until turking makes some sense. Do some lower-paying hits to build your numbers up. Be very careful to avoid rejections. They can make a big difference in your acceptance score and thereby limit the hits available to you. Best Wishes.
Parro- HITs in your queue will still expire after the allotted time. The queue is useful for grabbing as many HITs as possible before they are accepted or completed by others. I usually fill it up when a good batch comesup. You can also grab some surveys and do them later or just return them if they seem to be too long, etc.
===================== I installed Grease Monkey with Hit Scraper and Export. I did one page, then I removed the URL and entered another. Now it's not doing anything. How do I activate it again?
I'm not sure what you're describing, but only a few people ever look at posts outside the daily threads. Check here (at least for June 4) and ask questions where a lot more people will see them: http://mturkforum.com/showthread.php?34438-Looking-for-HITs-6-4-Caturday-Cash
