I think out of all of the ones posted I've maybe qualified for 1 and I've tried over ten probably. They wait a while to screen you out too. I just did one that I thought I was going to be able to finish and five minutes in it screened me out. There was another requester...demetri something or other that had HITs that were the same way. I don't know if it's the same guy or not. Just curious if it's just me or if everyone is getting kind of fed up with them and having the same issue. I think I'm done wasting my time with those. I know it says in the instructions to take at your own risk but I would think I would qualify for at least a couple...not just one.
Yup, CVRS (as well as the requester Dmitri Rashnitsov, who are one and the same) are known for that. They still get your data but when they screen you out, they don't have to pay you for it. Do you know about Turkopticon? It's a place for turkers to review requesters and share data, and while it has its problems, it's often a good first place to check up on requesters you've never worked with before. There's even a script or plugin you can install that will give you quick access to the ratings for requesters you see on Mturk.

I installed the plugin and it's my new favorite thing! I don't know how I didn't know about it. I kind of always wondered what people meant when they were talking about TO. Now I know. Hahah.

I finally did qualify for one of his surveys. Got all the way through after spending an hour on it. Just got rejected and now it says "fraud" by it! Unbelievable.

CVRS or Demetri or whoever he is needs to be sued. Is there nothing we can do? Can we not somehow convince MTurk that this person is full of it? It's so frustrating to see his crap there, day after day, and he's getting away with this con.
