Do they show up daily? I do them and hate them, too. lol. I'm not sure why I hate them, though. I like that they show progress. I use it as motivation to get me through, but you're right about the extra page/click not being needed between each.
I just felt like throwing something weird out there. I knew the song but this is the first time I've ever seen the video. I didn't even know there was a video.
Wow! I never knew there was a video either...My brother was totally obsessed with this one and "Evil Dick" by Ice T before he went from "Cop Killer" to playing one on TV.
it varies. with most incomplete surveys the data is just never sent to the requester. they can get it if they know how through the survey API or by request. so, probably a waste of time writing snarky responses to survey writing prompts, then not finishing the survey and returning the hit. (I may have done that) most requesters are just never going to get the data. if the work is done in the Hit body, it's usually sent directly to the requesters server once the hit is submitted. but there are a million different ways it could be setup. it's lose:lose when the hit expires, in the majority of surveys and studies the requester needs to have valid data so they aren't interested in failed or incomplete hits. the hit is reposted when it is abandoned or returned and some other worker does it.
Panda this 5 cent HIT. Requester: Eugene Wu https://www.mturk.com/mturk/previewandaccept?groupId=3MKD2J38HK47NCQW1D6NJACLZ5BB98 Nice bonus edit: Took me 25 mins going slow. Simple, but repetitive. Bonus = $6.25 if you complete it. You can opt out earlier for a lower amount.
Wow, I don't think I've ever been on here during the thread changeover. I slept in way too late Sunday.
I requested commenting ability on TO While doing so I also learned how to check out all the reviews done by one person. I saw a nasty unjust one..I clicked on him....He can easily be discredited...I noticed in an October review he's talking about "first rejection ever on mTurk" then goes into his rant....But just below, in Sept....He has another rant about 5 rejections....So how was the one in Oct. the first? I've been on Mturk for awhile but am still fairly new to all the tools and their proper usage....Is it against any policy to call out a review for having lied in other reviews? It's there, plain as day. Everybody can see it, so I'm thinking no, but wanted to check first.
I doubt it's against any policy and they probably don't have one. TO is a private thing so it's kind of a mess in that respect. I know you aren't going to be going on there and just slamming people all day so you should be fine. Personally, I appreciate that extra layer of info on a review.
It was actually a guy slamming Calebro about one of his HITs. He left no data either..I saw that and knew it couldn't be right. Clicked his name and saw the lie....So I figured, when I get the ability, I'd just comment on how I'd like to trust these reviews BUT.....
Yep, you should be fine to do that. By the way... that Calebro guy's name is actually Shirley. Pass it on.
