isn't adfly that annoying shit the reddit turk thing has? I really wish they would all go die ina fire for that non-sense. It's why I help here and not those bastards.

Forces people that click it to wait five seconds and watch an ad before going to the webpage. It is used on the subreddit hitsworthturkingfor to encourage people to post hits but is not allowed here, as it is soliciting and that five second d wait can be enough that the hit is gone by the time anyone clicks it.

 

1.) make link that goes to Adfly
2.) tell nobody about the adfly link
3.) Person goes to Adfly link before the real link
4.) Poster gets 1/4 of a cent or something like that
5.) People who are duped into going to the Adfly link get upset
6.) Poster thinks he is doing people a favor be doing so
7.) ????? Profit ????

 

I don't mind encouraging people to post hits in that way, but it is not appropriate here. I've considered posting there, but it feels gross to make money off other turkers.

 

That's what I thought it was....but, I didn't get the links from anywhere but here or the scraper. Just wondering how to avoid unnecessarily wasting time on HITs.

720$ is not enough to sell what little popularity and 'likable-ness' I do get on this forum. Also, professionals have standards, i'm not soem bloke thats going to bludgeon someone to death with a golfing trophy(or in this case, ads).

I have my dignity, and even if I only live of 5k a year, that extra 720 isn't worth it. (Besides, one gets used to alpo dinners and ramen eventually)
