The format isn't exactly my cup of tea. I'd rather hear what a foreign word sounds like, than read what it sounds like. Since I'm not learning it for scholastic reasons, I'm not too concerned about in-depth lexis and structure. From the reviews, I'm sure it's a well written book, but not for my intents (at least for now). I read/have read a lot of textbooks, and have a BA in Communication. For languages though, I just prefer digital. Personal preference, I guess. Have you read the book?
Yeah, I've read it, for sure. I was pretty fluent on the reading aspect, but that was a few years ago. I definitely agree that a textbook isn't the best way to learn a foreign language, in this day and age. I'd vouch for that one, though. There's also both a French and German edition, but I'm not familiar with those. You and Mo might want to check them out.
Yeah I'm already having ammo problems and I feel like I didn't even kill most of the zombies on the train.
I'm a bitch when it comes to difficulty nowadays, I'll put that on easy no reservations. I honestly don't know how I had the patience when I was a kid.
I usually start out on hard but if I end up bashing my head against the wall for too long I will turn it down.
Hofstra already lowered pay by a cent. They listed to my feedback to put USA at the top of the list, so maybe if enough people ask them to raise the pay a bit in the comments, they will.
I recently played Phantasy Star. I used a walkthrough, that I found online. It was still hard as fuck. I have no fucking idea how I beat that shit when I was a kid.
I was so hyped when PSO came out, then I beat it the very same day that I bought it. I wound up giving it to my little sister, and she put in about 200 hours on it, lol. Different strokes for different folks.
