Thanks. Third time this week I missed em. I think the vids are still up. They told me they'd reinstate my qual after pulling it, but still not able to do them at the moment. Guess I gotta find some other filler in the meantime.
Just completed the $8.50 UCSC HIT, in about 30 minutes. Here's the panda if anyone wants to try for it: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/previewandaccept?groupId=3MB19ID76XL05N0066RB8ZVZGZS16T
I'm just starting a $2.50 HIT called "Body Word Descriptors" by MPI Dept. of Perceiving Systems. If you caught it and you only see 1 line in the HIT open it in Chrome and all will appear. EDIT: This HIT took me a long time, at least 35 minutes. I wouldn't particularly recommend it for that reason.
I tried the VERG virtual human HIT - did not work for me at the very after a lot of wasted time trying. Might want to avoid.
So that $4 survey that we all got mad about getting kicked out of yesterday is going to pay. Got an email back from the requester and he's going through each person's ID and figuring out how many questions they answered and then will pay based on how far you got. That's an impressive amount of work for him to do, I appreciate it and all, but sounds like a pain from his end.
I also got this overnight. Funny because it's been at least 6 months if not longer since I've touched a crowdsurf hit. Greetings from Amazon Mechanical Turk, You are receiving this email because a requester has granted you the following qualification: Qualification: Qualified to work on Review and Edit Transcription Tasks Requester: Crowdsurf Support Qualification Value: 950 For more information about this qualification, please contact the requester directly.
