Can't Find Awesome HITs? 8/17 Wedding Plus Cats Wednesday!

I need total darkness to sleep. I have blackout curtains because even moonlight is too much. My router gets covered by a black sock that I can't find the matching one to. The xbox one power thingy gets unplugged because of that dumb white light on it. I don't unplug the tv but I put a candle in front of the little red light. I can't stand when someone leaves the bathroom light on because it creeps in through the cracks in the door.

I also know TVs use less power these days but I still feel like I'm helping the energy bill by turning stuff off.

I hate when there is a bit of light coming into the room from another room. While I do not go to the efforts you do, I know what you mean about blackout curtains - I actually kind of consider them one of the little pleasures that comes with staying in hotels when I travel for work (not as much of a luxury as having somebody else cut fresh fruit and veggies and cook for me every day + make my bed and clean the bathroom - but still a luxury)

Yikes! When I heard about it and heard that Lochte was already home I figured something was up.

 

I read earlier today that they put a hold on Ryan Lochte's passport, they wanted to question him, but he had already left the country.

 

I'm just really confused why there would be a concocted tale about a robbery and such. Did they accidentally kill a prostitute or something?

I'm not familiar with the details of the story, just the headlines of the robbery and the story seeming flimsy and now this.

The police are saying the swimmer's timeline isn't matching up with their surveillance cameras.

 

This, pretty much. They were seen on CCTV with their cell phones and wallets and other valuables still in their possession.

 

I just pray that this isn't another instance of the "ugly American". Other reports said they were falling down drunk or too drunk to give a statement that night. wth were they thinking?
