You're so lucky to live in such a historical town...I've heard really creepy things about Gettysburg too, how people will see ghost armies on the field pop out of no where and scream out "fire!" I do live fairly close and we have some civil war stuff in Maryland. When I was a kid, I went hiking with my sister and dad on sugar loaf mountain. It's a Historical place that has many old outposts from the civil war. I'll never forget that day. After the hike, when were walking back to the car, we saw a foreign family talking in a foreign language shouting and acting surprised. Clearly I was the more imaginative one compared to my sister so I ran over to see what they were looking at. They were peering into an old outpost window made of stone, trying to take pictures but nothing would come up on their camera; they seemed frustrated. I looked into the stone window myself to see and to my surprise, I saw a ghost. It was very large in size. Like a human size height, but it was covered in this neon white gown-cloak. To be honest, I get chills just writing this. It had a neon blue lining around its cloak, just hovering inside of the post, almost like a widow grieving over a lost soldier. I don't remember if my sister saw it, nor do I think she cared, but the other day, I called to ask my dad if he remembers and he did. Ghosts and spirits are real. Maybe not oiuja boards and such, but spirits are present, it's just very coincidental to find them.
