What are you afraid they may be doing with your voice?

 

They're using it to help make voice recognition in Google Now work better. Also, they post more than the voice recording hits.

 

It becomes pretty apparent pretty quick that they are using it to test Glass's voice recognition...

 

Well, their easy to do for 3 cent each. I average about 3 HITs a minute so for 9 cents a minute not bad money and you can rack up hits pretty quickly.

As for what they want my voice for, I really don't care. My guess is a voice recognition program.

 

That's not even close to correct. They are using your voice to dub hardcore gangster **** in Latvia.

 

They're used by Google for voice recognition in Android devices (including Glass, obviously since it's in the texts) so you're actually doing something beneficial.

IMO Endors used to be much better but I still like these. However, the last few batches the servers have been less responsive and sometimes screw up so they're not as good as they used to be. Still, I always end up doing as many as I can. Today I'm holding off though thanks to so many surveys being up.

 

Personally I think it'd be really cool if they used my voice as one of the default voice for Google Glass or something. Maybe that's just me, though.

 

Im new to this project endor thing. For the voice recording am I suppose to say {prompt} also?

 

When their servers were quicker (or when Chrome was better since I can't be sure which is being slower) I could easily get 5-6 a minute but I agree, they're still worth it.

Accept the hit, and you should see what you're supposed to say. That {prompt} shows up if you are just previewing it.

 

I think that {prompt} only shows up until you accept the HIT? I had the same issue the first (and so far only) time I did them - I skipped several because I didn't know to accept them. Could be misremembering though; either way, you don't have to say prompt.

 

God these stomach cramps are the worst

 

When you accept it the {prompt} will change to the actual thing you're supposed to say.
