There has to be some sort of error happening with Amazon Payments. I get this "This functionality has been disabled on your account. We have failed in verifying the information submitted by you. Click here to find out more about these restrictions." when going to the withdraw funds page. What The Fuck?

I think this more than likely has something to do with them switching over for the new year, it'll probably be back for everyone in the next few hours
I just got off the phone with Amazon Payments, and they had no helpful information except saying that my account was not verified for some reason. They are pushing it up to specialists that verify tax information and I should receive an email with 24-48 hours.
Here is the thing that I do not understand. If I were to have any type of problem or any activity at all on my account, I get an email. I get a bonus = I get an email I get a qual = I get an email I get boned by Amazon = I get nothing? Something doesn't add up...
I figure they are having technical difficulties since it is the first of the year, and their system has flagged accounts that need not be flagged, but I thought it would be best to get the ball rolling with a phone call.

I wasn't meaning any harm by that statement, but I was just stating that when any problem goes to a separate thread, it is usually forgotten about and slow to solve. Therefore, it is a lot of complaining and crying. If it is posted in this thread (and more than one person is affected) it usually gets solved a lot quicker.

I don't like it when people start messing with my money. I feel that this is a general technical issue at Amazon since so many of us are encountering at the same time (with the exception of one person I have seen so far), and I'm thinking they will have it fixed in a couple of hours. Clearly a large majority are having an issue, therefore most likely its just a technical issue and it will be dealt with. Amazon is a company, not a band of wizards. Just requires patience. The issue only arose a couple hours ago. The only other option is calling Ghostbusters and I'm pretty sure they have their hands full. ^^
I looked into it and found that many people that accepted payments for Kickstarter had problems back in November. They had the same issue where their account was listed as "Restricted". Some took a couple hours and others took a couple days. I guess we just wait and see...
