Good morning, all. Looks like it's still hella slow; this weekend has been a nightmare trying to reach goal (and it's only 5 bucks a day, sheesh). Made it yesterday - not so sure about today, I've taken nearly everything I'm qualified to take.

I'm only 330 HITs short of 5k - SO frustrating. :( I need a good, quick batch to push me over the top. Can't wait for tomorrow.

Hope everyone else is doing better.

EDIT: Just heard from my friend that they completed the 10.00 bonus gift survey from before Christmas, so my day just got better, instantly. :D

Be careful you will get a couple of rejections that say "you have chosen a know wrong answer" and they will not respond to an e-mail.

Did anyone get the $5 bonus for the Stanford gift survey follow up? I got the email on 12/21 and I completed the survey the same day. I assumed I would get the $5 bonus at the same time as the $10 bonus for having my friend complete the survey but I see no mention of it in the reminder email.

I haven't noticed, but I haven't been looking for it, either. In all honesty, I just kind of forgot about it. I'm not sure that I can even look that up, either, since bonuses are all lumped into one category.

Eh, oh well. As long as I see the 10 dollar one, my world is good.

You can look it up because Amazon sends an email when you get a bonus.

    Good morning everyone,
    Hope you're all healthy & happy :)

I wanted to post about this hit:
Title: Find and clean information about books in the Kindle Store.
    Requester: Chris Niemira [A3ACG0PHVR824U] (TO)
Description: Given the title and author, determine the AISN, page length, source ISBN, genre, and series of a book using the Amazon Kindle Store.
    Reward: $0.08
    Qualifications: Masters has been granted

I asked about the ISBN # requester wants for these listings.

He kindly wrote back the following:

    Hi Kristen,

If a book does not have an ISBN listed (which should only happen if it's a Kindle original that was never published in book form), you can enter "None" in that field. Otherwise, a book published in Kindle form will list the ISBN of the physical publication used as the source for the page count. The ASIN, which is also a required field, is the "Amazon Standard Identification Number" and is more closely related to a SKU than an ISBN (although there was parity between ISBN and ASIN in the older days for some books, the two numbers are largely unrelated and are not interchangeable).

    Regards,
    -Chris Niemira

Hopefully this will help those interested in completing these hits while cutting down on the mass emails he'll get about the isbn # situation.

I saw delf hits for those who do not fear rejection.

Also, check out the hits by "marketing" as they are easy google searches and better pay than the same crowdsource ones. It looks like Marketing refreshes their hits every week and you can do them all again.
