I was going to post this in another part of this forum but then I looked and realized everyone that is on this forum is in here! 74 viewing this thread and 4 viewing others....lol What do you consider a good requester when it comes to the TO reviews (amounts? above a certain number 1-5?) Would you trust a requester with 1 review but it was positive? How bad does a requester's ratings have to be for you not to use them? How often do you not get paid on HITS (or hits returned) does it happen a lot? I just don't want to be wasting my time by either A) not getting paid or B)having good HITS rejected Thanks peeps
Carly is my favorite!! She is amazing, can't wait to see tonight's performance. And yes SHE BETTER WIN!!!
I will test a requester with 1 positive TO. A couple of negatives, but mostly positive? I read through the reviews. If it's "I CLICKT THEM AND THEIR BUBBLES AND THEY REJECT ME N SCAM ME SO I CANT MAKE NO MUNEY" or similar....I disregard. Or if it's obvious that the person is just pissed off because they got rejected. Half and half...again, I read through them. See what people are complaining about and how they're doing it. Rejections will happen sometimes, no matter what. I use my best judgement and I won't risk a sketchy TO if I can't afford the rejection. Right now I'm at 99.6% approval, with 3000 HITs, so one or two wouldn't kill me if it happened. Same thing goes for no TO...survey, I'll usually chance it, especially from a school. Batches, I test out a few and wait and see. Edit: This is also why I take some time to write TO reviews, usually in chunks. If I have a problem, I go to the requester, NOT TO. I think the only TO reviews I've written have been positive.

Thanks BWU. I think that is a smart way to go about it. I am really just trying to figure out the best and most efficient way to use my time. I find myself looking for 12 minutes or so for a hit and then think to myself; what the hell, I could have been doing cheaper hits and making money instead of searching for the best possible HIT. I realize I need to get my approvals higher and then I will be able to do more and better HITS. I will just keep chipping away at it. This seems like a place where you have to wade through the muck to get to the beach......I've got my knee highs and a radio.....
So... question for anyone who's done Steven Schneider's current batch where you find the names and contact info of the management team, I cannot seem to find this info ever. It's entirely possible I'm just too tired to properly figure this out right now and am missing something blatantly obvious, but I'd be super grateful if anyone could offer a little insight.
Get some batches you like to do. They're great for getting numbers up. List HITs as "Most available" and "that I qualify for" to find batches easily and test some out. See if they're fast enough for what you want. One batch that is reliable is Oscar Smith. They can be a pain and don't pay that well, but they're relatively fast and rarely reject. Great for getting numbers up, especially in the beginning. A lot of HITs opened up for me at 500 approved and 1k approved, so focusing on numbers helped a LOT. When there aren't batches, I list HITS by "Reward most first" and "that I qualify for" and go down the list. You need to have an idea of how much you want to make per hour, and check the time estimates closely. An hour long survey that pays $1 isn't nearly as good as 12 4-5 minute surveys that pay .50 each. (That would still only be $6 an hour, but way better than the $1). Once you kind of get into the swing of it (and this forum will help a TON), it gets way easier! It also helps when you get your numbers up.
I am new here, but I thought I might add some help with this. I have not done any of Steven HITs however I do take part in another online crowdsourcing job that requires the finding of executives, and I thought I might add this link to help everyone out on these. However, it will not let me include a link until after my first post, so I will put it in my next post.
I find just adding the name ceo or president, executive, anything the like at the end of the company name and googling it, I get some results. If I only find the CEO name, but nothing else I track down the company LinkedIn profile and look up who works there. I can't get LinkedIn to show me the names of the workers, I do a quick search on the job position of the profile I want to get a name from and mostly shows up a name on Google.
