CF's quality control is notoriously terrible. They probably do it so that people can't memorize the test questions
That is what I have never understood about them. If a person is doing really well, why make them stop? Seems like they would get better work that way.
$500/month?!? I would love to have the problem of making even somewhere near $500/month. Would any of you be willing to share the percentage of different types of hits you do to reach those numbers? I read earlier that some of you were doing medcrowd hits, but I'm not qualified for those yet. I'm just curious to know if there are some hits I'm not doing that I should be considering. Thanks!
So far I did about 70 dollars today, which included close to 1,000 Medcrowds, 60 UNC hits, some surveys and some other small batches.

Yeh, I got that, just trying to figure out what it was. People have nicknames for some of their favorite hits, just trying to keep track. Thanks Phase!
Practice makes perfect. I basically just follow this forum and get email alerts from TurkAlert for my favorite requesters. I shoot for a weekday goal of $20 and a weekend goal of $10. That alone will make you $500 a month.
Shooting for just $20 per day at 5 days a week or even less than that at 7 days a week is not that hard and will get you to $500.oo per month... I have been focusing on high dollar HITs like $5.oo OLA mystery shopper calls and $1-$3 surveys as well as some transcription and writing. But many people do it by committing themselves to buckle down and do thousands of $0.05 -$0.25 batch HITs. And then others, likely the most profitable, mix it up. I always have HITs in my que. When I see $1 or $2 surveys I accept them and work like hell to get them done before the timer expires. I am always switching from the HIT I'm working to the 3 HIT search windows I have open and set to auto refresh every 30 seconds with different search criteria in each. I rarely select the option for HITs I am qualified for because I find many HITs that I want to do, ask for the qualification or take the test and get it. Bottom line is you should be working for at least $6 per hour. So you should be able to reach $500.oo per month in 3-4 hours of work per day in a 5 day week or more if you goof off a lot like I do. Another trick is to start as early as possible and get as much done early in the week as possible as the HITs tend to slim out later in the week and especially on weekends. Hope this helps!
i've done about $50-60/day during the week for over a month straight, and for me it always changes depending on what's available, and most often it's a mix. today, for example, i'm just about up to $50, about a quarter of that is surveys, another quarter is transcriptions, another quarter is batch hits, and the last quarter is article rewrites. i think the main thing is sticking around in here and checking what's being posted that you qualify for, and also over time you'll see which hits people get excited about as far as prolific requesters go, like medcrowd, tim edwards, two lakes, matt rubin, etc. and if you can't do them yet, check out how many hits they require, what approval rate, if they have their own special qual, etc.
I didn't realize the $500 a month limit, but I have made that and still have over $150 approved-pending payment and a bunch still waiting approval. Here is what I do: The biggest chunk of my money this month came from Amazon Requester Inc - browse classification (I fly through the home, cell, and toy ones. I am a little slower with the tools and sports because I don't know alot about those. I can average anywhere from $6-$7.50 in less than an hour just depending on how many they have up and which section it is. They post all throughout the day and approve quickly) When they are down I come here and check out the survey's posted, or the other hits that other members on here are having luck with. If it is really slow I do the readabl hits where you type in the name of the company from a photo of a piece of mail. They are penny hits, but you type in a few letters and then a drop down box pops up and you pick the company. I can normally fly through that one too. Go for every qualification that you can, and keep checking on here. I have been able to find a lot of new hits that I never heard of from all of the great turkers on here.
easy $0.10 hit, rate companies (some of which i believe aren't actually real but i could be wrong): https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=26V8XBAT2D5NMWIHNMH0NG6T1QO516 edit: should only take 30 seconds or less
For $0.50 - says it will take about 10 mins. - I'll update on time when I'm done - Answers Questions about Photographs of People Requester: Robert Spunt EDIT: It's taking me longer than 10 mins., but my connection is acting up a bit ....
Warning- no completion code given at the end. Quick and easy though, left a note and submitted it anyway based on TO. Probably wouldn't hurt to send him a message too.
i swear they get these photos from some creepy pedophile dating website. adgjbgjer; Classify Adult Images (Contains Mature Content) Requester: CrowdFlower Reward: $0.04 per HIT HITs Available: 1139 Duration: 60 minutes Auto-Approval Time: 1 days Qualifications Required: Location is US https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview...wdFlower&hitId=2T6NLVWJ5OPB8Q0JQ2PM0B7GPTZ2UH
I'm working on this too. Use TAB and your arrow keys to go a bit faster. Edit: Nevermind, I'm returning.. but that tip still works for other things!
