I keep getting an error report with U of Delware - gonna skip them
Today is a total grind for me.
Grinding it out at 4.20 an hour
When was the last medcrowd qual?
Oh, hey did anyone actually register to get into U of TX at Austin? Or are you not bothering?
Well I can barely hold my eyes open anymore. Thanks to Amazon Requester I hit my goal of 1000 hits submitted. I just hope that the Mike L hits will approve quickly.
Good night all. I wish you the best of luck earning money. Hopefully tomorrow will bring us all some great batches.
I've done about 150 of the >500 ones, and they tend to take 45 seconds - 1.5 minutes (depending on how bad the site layout is). I did 5 of the >1000s, and 2 schools were unlisted, one with a pretty hard-to-find course catalog.
I think I'm just going to stick with the first ones, they seem faster.
When the spreadsheet login didn't work, I just started skipping all of those.
maybe it's because i did them all freakin day long, but the 5000+ batch seemed a lot easier to get through... i'm not really into either of these other two batches... and every time i think i've seen all the schools he's gonna ask about, BAM, new school...
EDIT: ugh, just another $1.60 and i'm gettin off this train...
I know there was a lot of talk about payments sitting at approved but not going to paid for people.
This was happening with me and I wasn’t too worried about it so I let it ride for almost 2 weeks. Then today, a few hours ago I sent Mturk mail asking what was going on and they haven’t got back to me but all of my approved hits from the last 2 weeks just went paid all at once.
I think if you have approved hits that aren’t paid for more then a few days you might have to bring it to their attention one way or the other.
I may or may not be skipping through and only doing 1 particular school because their catalog is kick ass and I can spit them out in under 30 seconds. Decided to stop doing them in order. I should have thought of this 20 hours ago. LOL So much easier to just do 1 school than skipping around for each one. Plus some of those schools were giving me a headache with their terribly unorganized websites.
it's because you went over $500 paid in a month, so you had to wait until the new month (today) to get the rest of the money. if you add a credit card to your amazon payments account you'll get all your money regardless of how much you make each month.
me too. it was okay with the 5000+ batch, i only skipped two out of ten or so schools, but these other batches can be so time consuming... lol he's punishing people with less approved hits...
So even if I have tax info and bank account this will still happen?
And debit cards apply right?
What the freak time is it on your end? Shouldn't you be sleepin? I still have another hour or so, but you heck it must be 3 am?
yeah you can use any credit or debit card, i used the card that's for my acct., if i remember correctly it approved instantly
it's 1:56am... i'm just doing 4 more rubins to get up to $83, then the $17 ecig article and i'm out...
Does this work if it's prepaid? I have a greendot visa, bluebird american express, and a mastercard debit connected. I use all three regularly.
yeah, my amex prepaid is my bank acct and cc on amazon payments
Man you're a trooper Sas,
For all you talking about adding a card. Look into INGs/Orange specials for checking/debit ccs. If you open with them, they're giving $125 back after 50 days and 10 transactions. Just opened one for on-line only stuff.
Sweet. The Serve American Express gives you $25 if you add $25 at activation. Easiest $25 I've ever made. LOL
Nice deal. The ING is more complicated with the number of transactions but, why not. They also have a deal where you set up an acct for you kids and they give $$. I can't remember how much. Was planning on doing that next week for my son. We recently moved from NY to CO so all our accounts became obsolete, need to reestablish.
I've been dragging my feet all day. Finally, I'm over 500 submitted HITs. I have to wait for them to approve.
Thanks, guys, and good night.
I hadn’t thought about it from that angle but you might be right. My payments stopped right at about 498.00 bucks. Guess it was just the timing of them paying the rest today that made me thing it was the mail I sent them. They really should post that in the FAQs if that’s the case. I’ve combed the hell out of them and I never saw anything like that.
I’ll go add my card now and either way.
