They seem pretty random. Sometimes they'll show up back to back weeks, sometimes there will be a month where there's nothing like that. Usually they show up on Fridays when they are like that, and it typically coincides with some big news in the tech world.

I think HappyFish nailed it. They were posting huge batches awhile back but now it does seem to correlate with tech news now that I think about it. Makes sense.

I had dry socket after pulling out my own tooth. "dumb, crazy I know" It was terrible. I just hate the dentist, my old dentist sheered off a chunk of my gums on accident and another chipped by jaw bone.

I think this was for the PICK a card study earlier where you chose to select a card or not and either you or a charity got a bonus if you picked the right card??? Any one remember?

    Greetings from Amazon Mechanical Turk,

You've received a bonus from MPR Lab for work related to 2F736XBAT2D5KA1KW4UQ4JG6KZF048.
The value of your bonus is: $4.95 USD

    The Requester included this note:
Here is your bonus for participation in a MPRLab survey. Thanks for
    participating!

I just did this. It was right at 8 minutes for me.

I really hope I haven't already done it. I've done a bunch of Behavioral Lab surveys, and when I look at my list, they all sound the same. Attitudes, experiences, preferences....

If I remember correctly Behavior Labs uses QUALS to either let you take a survey again or not... In any event when I've tried to do one a second time it wouldn't let me.

You guys, I can't keep up with how many replies this thread is getting now. There are so many of us I think it might be practical to have two different threads for surveys and Batches. It might just be me but I spend more time browsing this thread trying to find what I missed every 10 minutes than than I do finding the ones I like.

People have protested against this in the past but I say we put it to a poll in tomorrows Can't Find Good HITs?

    We've had polls.
People hate having to go to two/three/+ places...

Alright, I'm sorry. I took a month hiatus from turking and I came back and this forum has definitely grown.

I just hate the idea of missing something.

I apologize for being unintentionally redundant.

I fail to see how splitting the same number of posts and putting them in two separate places makes it easier and/or quicker to find anything.

Maybe we should just cut down on OT posts in this thread and keep it more focused on posting HITs?
