Did Redwood put a number amount that you can do on their Review ones? I just did three and it said there was no more work available. I used to be able to do as many as I'd like.
No idea. I haven't been able to do any of their HITs since they changed their name from Speaker Text.
Turkingninja and jadedworker, thank you so much for posting about those Cog Lab face HITs, I got in almost the entire set and it pushed me over the $50 mark. Best Monday in a few weeks.
40 minutes, rather tedious work.. go to submit, get a blank screen, not sure if data was submitted. Submitted on mturk anyway and messaged requester.. better get my $$$ Title: Identify the gender of face photos Requester: Egner Lab [A2UWK6ZFGW6LXA] (TO) Description: Identify the gender of face photos Reward: $2.25 Qualifications: HIT approval rate (%) is not less than 85 Link: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=21WH0OHOVR17NRWRCC02QECXIE145S Powered by non-amazonian script monkeys
Anyone know about Harumi Kobayashi? Grinding through them to get my nummers up, only 2c per but i'd rather not be mass-rejected.
People who do that (it happens quite often, I just did it today) usually send an email to the requester, explain what happened and describe the survey a little bit to show the requester that they know the contents of the survey. I include some of my demographic information also. Whatever I think might be the most unusual thing about me from that survey. (The one today asked about religious affiliation and I answered with the fairly small denomination I was raised in. There won't be a lot of other people who put that.)
Wow the fe/male face survey took 43 minutes -.-' At least it approved several minutes later. Just check HITs assigned to you if it's still there. It auto-submits after the survey.
If you're looking for something to do and are good at skimming web pages, try these: Title: Analyzing News Pages 3 Requester: DecisionResearch Lab [A32XN4TF9CXR6Y] (TO) Description: Please look over 3 news sites, answering 3 simple questions about each one. Reward: $0.20 Qualifications: Link: https://www.mturk.com/mturk/preview?groupId=230LIA0RYNJBZOXP1FWBUJTZIZ427Q Powered by non-amazonian script monkeys The TO is from me from the last batch, which approved in hours. They aren't great for the pay but at worst should meet the 10c/min threshhold (more if you can get into a rhythm) which is not bad for this time of night. If you are only half-awake tho these might not be for you.
No. For the most part they are just like CrowdFlower, completely arbitrary. I have noticed that Redwood seems to hold it against me if I return a hit, so I don't think I'm going to do that again. And obviously they are better than CrowdFlower because you find out you can't do the hit before you accept it instead of after.
No, I manually submitted because I got a blank screen.. then tried to reload the page after several minutes and it tried to start me over.. grrrrr. Read TO, someone had a similar problem and still got paid.. so *cross fingers*
Title: Think about how you would interpret four different scenarios (estimated time: 5-10 minutes) Requester: Adelaide CompCogSci [A2UKL52R7I6BX7] (TO) Description: You will see four scenarios in which you will be presented with evidence supporting a conclusion. Just wondering if you read the instructions at the end? Not a smart ass question... I don't want to get beaten and stoned for putting any info up about a survey lol
