Same happened to me. Kept getting tweets about uggs, which were not listed in the list of products they provided. After I failed the quality control twice, I was then locked out of MTurk with the message "you cant take anymore hits today message." I wonder if it is because I am new or because I failed those HITS?
People here keep recommending CROWDFLOWER, but as a newbie I have had problems with them. I don't find the album correction hits to be worthwhile for building hit counts either. To slow. Hmm, so I want to ask- For purely building up my HIT total what are the best HITS to do, with the least pain or problems? Money is not my priority in this case.
Oscar Smith HITS will build your HITS up, they only pay .02 per business card but I have never heard of anyone getting a rejection from these HITS!
What I've had good luck with: PPC WWBP (approved within seconds when they were up, completed 600 to get to 1k) Redwood Crowdsource Jon Brelig Houdini in that order is about what my composition is/was for under 1k hits. The only one rejected out of any of them was from Jon Brelig, and I must have typed something in wrong.
