Greetings from Amazon Mechanical Turk, The following is a summary of activity for your Mechanical Turk account for the week ending Jan 11, 2014. Your HIT activity for this week: - Number of HITs submitted: 1482 Approvals and payments that occurred this week: - Number of HITs approved: 1212 - Number of HITs rejected: 0 - Bonus reward earned: $30.87 - HIT reward earned: $384.74 - Total Amount earned this week: $415.16 Still got $60 worth pending in addition to the $50 I made through a requester. With those added I'm above $500 for the week. Haven't had a week this great since FE was around posting big batches!
I usually target $25 a day. It's all about being there at the right time when big money hits drop, getting some quals and taking some risks. During the starting stage, I would suggest you to focus on building numbers so you can take more risk later on. Don't worry, your time will come.

My advice FWIW: 1. Seek out as many quals as possible. Can't say that enough. 2. Yep, if nothing else is available don't sit around, do the "meh" stuff until something good comes along. Don't work slave wages though. Set yourself a minimum YOU feel comfortable with and stick to it no matter what. 3. Use PM/C4C wisely. Keep it updated and monitor autoaccept links for hits that post often. Personally I don't even use it when I have plenty of work, it slows me down. But it's a lifesaver when it's slow. 4. Branch out beyond one kind of hit. If all you do is surveys you're missing out on most of the hits on MT. Search out and try different types of hits. There are no "right" or "wrong" hits to work on, it's what works for you. There's always, always, always something out there worth working on. But it isn't always surveys. 5. Don't get too set on pay per hit. Look at the amount of time it takes to do the hit and set your sights on pay per unit of time (minute/hour). It's entirely possible to make $8-$10 per hour or more on hits that pay a nickel or less if they go fast enough. It's also entirely possible to take a $10 hit and it takes so long to do that your actual pay rate is peanuts. 6. USE YOUR QUEUE to make sure you have work constantly available as much as possible. Less time searching= More time making $$$ Just my 2 cents. YMMV
When I saw the name of this, I immediately thought of pr0n. I am disappoint that they are all gone now. Good morning, Sunshines! I'm still catching up on the whopping 6 pages of chat.
