I participated in the qual for those hits, but I'm pretty sure my scathing commentary eliminated me from the pool of the lucky few chosen to review the articles. Sigh, Maybe it doesn't matter, I got the Hubpages qual. Just as bad. Sure, some things are subjective, but facts and grammar are concrete. The only rhyme or reason I get from my scores is that I better not contradict the scores given by the Pro Hubteam. Meh. That stuff is tiresome reading though.

I find content research still easier than hubpages. Also, I was pretty harsh in my reviews at first. I used to go as far as to make fun of horrid articles. In fact, once wrote a paragraph long rant because I was so shocked that this article even existed. I don't do that now because there aren't any fun articles like that in the batch anymore, and if I'm doing them I don't want to waste any time on an already underpaid hit. One reason why I don't like them any more is because there are fewer bad ones to lighten the mood. Not only does this slow down the work because bad ones could be spotted instantly, but there's just no joy to be derived from others' incompetency any more. Especially once I got so good at spotting the errors that I could literally ham Content Research and get bonuses, I used to look FORWARD to them. Now they're just...uh... There was a time when I could pull 14/hr (factoring in bonuses) off of CR, but those days are over now.

I dislike Hubpages because I feel that they are threatening me to some extent. My income from them is supplemented by a bonus system. If they decide that I'm doing poor quality work while rating their poor quality content, then I make less money. It doesn't seem to matter if I adhere to their specs. I'm not sure who is grading my hits, but I am certain that they have no interest what so ever in the success of HubPages.

I used to get some serious candy when I delivered pizzas on Halloween. One year when it rained I had a few people dump whole bags on me. Yeah, I'll share them with everyone in the store. lol

I did about 300 HITs (did not use the script) and had one rejected. The rest are pending. While doing them, the site slowed down, so I'm wondering if that caused me to misclick.
