Not for those of us whose brains don't work that way. I'm terrible at stuff like that. I could waffle over some of those for 20 minutes. I remember some problems a while back too with them starting to reject on some HITs like that. I did some HITs reviewing...something. I can't even remember what now. It was just a mess. The quality of the incoming data was garbage, and I felt like my work was garbage by proxy because I was trying to clean up the mess of the people doing the HITs.
Thank you for that reminder. I refuse to accept PayPal. I don't want a payment service that acts as capriciously as PayPal has done with too many of its customers. Amazon payments is tenuous enough, AFAIC. But if I leave any money in my Amazon account, it means I have less than a dollar.
I received a couple of rejections from them too. The good thing about Crowdsource is you can actually see the HITs you've done on their site and check them yourself. I saw that the rejections I received were clearly wrong and emailed them pointing it out. They were very good and reversed the rejections. My guess is the scamming I brought up earlier is contributing to this.
Hmm... don't want to keep going on this. Many and I mean many unfair rejections from those. I think you can see by the reactions here that most people don't think they are worth it. Like I said, if you like 'em, good for you. I'm done talking about CS. The reactions above seem to echo what I feel about them.
Sorry, a cold beer and a hot bath are calling me. The gist of it is between my posts and Turkalufagus'.

If I recall correctly there were many, many random rejections on the business cat batches. And even when people logged in and showed that their answer was correct it didn't matter. After that happened everyone was a bit gun shy about all CS work.
I could see myself signing up because it would be nice to have it to check out when mturk is slow (much like I look at CS hits now). That being said, it would also depend on cash out policy. I want to know that I can cash out whenever I want, I do not want to wait until I hit $25 or something (which could be hard if they start making the hits really sucky)
They've got to have multiple people doing each one...no way are they going down fast enough at only 1 per HIT!
Is anyone's HIT Database acting funky? Mine hasn't worked for a few days and I've re-installed it multiple times.
I see. Interesting. I never had that problem. I wonder why. Ah well. I guess they've fixed it because I've been going at them for weeks now with no problems other than the two rejections that were easily reversed. The bonus system is pretty good too.
