Of course. I was unemployed for almost 2 years. My family stayed with my father for a period of time (wish I had known about mTurk back then might have been able to make things stretch better). So it ticks me off when I see someone take someone down for living at home, especially at your age(I was 29) and god forbid drinking on the weekend. Its just judgmental BS, imo. Heres another info-graphic for you. Again you, me, alot of other people here as well seem to be in good company.
In keeping with the theme so far: As someone who never plans to marry, pays for my own food and entertainment, and even pays for my family's internet connection, anyone who gives a **** that I live "at home" can get bent.
You can always PM me anytime. I do care, and although I may not have gone through your situations or your past, etc. I can definitely relate no matter what the issue at hand is. I try not to be too motherly and nurse like when it comes to health issues, but I can't help it. I know some things seem easier right now, but usually you will regret it later. Sometimes you just have to stop and think "If I do this, what is going to happen as a result." I can't promise that things will get better, but they will get easier.
I think its more common for people to drink in the evenings then for people to not. Just my observations - and I don't drink. It doesn't bother me that others do. We all walk our own paths in life.
Ima stop clicking on random colors of flags for Research Tasks for pennies and go finish Game of THrones now.
Does anyone know what Im doing wrong with HitDB if FF? In chrome, on my mturk dashboard I can see when the money is approved & hits are done like this: but in ff, it never shows (light grey)
People just tend to forget that living in family group of more then two generations was very common. I happen to be looking at the 1940 census of my grandparents. They were living with my great grandparents. Along with their two children (my aunt and uncle, my dad wasn't born for a few more months). Also in the house was my grandfather's younger brother and a farm hand. So three generations under one roof. After my grandparents got their own place, my grandmother's uncle lived with them until his death. So again three generations under one roof.
Agree 100% and it's not for anyone else to judge or demean anyone who does. As most here know, I'm an alcoholic who is 8 years sober. I'll give advice when it's asked for but I'll never, ever judge anyone.
Seriously if you know anyone that can help you get into craft beer or have any good stores that sell it locally its really the best. I enjoy drinking more and never get headaches now that I don't drink that mass-produced junk most American's would call beer. Theres a wide world out there suited to every tastebud and person that until a few years ago I didn't even know existed.
