I woke up to see on the AP wire that Wal-Mart in Canadia got in a lot of trouble for shutting down a store that was in the midst of collective bargaining arbitration. It has to pay the people that it illegally fired? Oh the humanity.

I mean, I totally disagree with the article/sentiment though. I've been handling guns safely since I was five, and I know dozens of people who were in the same position. I'll watch someone get a gun out and make sure the chamber is empty, they'll hand it to me, and I immediately check it again. I know bullets aren't going to magically appear, and I trust my eyes, but safety is ingrained. I get that a lot of people are city folk, but I grew up liking to eat rabbit and squirrel, and my dad only had time for deer/duck/hog hunting. The kids in that video are 100% old enough to be taught careful, respectful gun use.
