I tried to do some Vales but the pay sucks and you keep slamming into ones that are basically impossible to describe under their rules or are flat out impossible: "The completely unidentifiable rectangular object behind the other completely unidentifiable object next to the woman in... Ah, fuck it.
I just skip when I see her audio. She and her radio crew talk a mile a minute and it seems like the audio is always longer.
Did you know that a governor is one who "Act as the chief public representative of an organization". I'm stretching so hard to make sense of that I just broke something. There certainly are government charted organizations but by this definition anything on the planet is an org. I think this one is my favorite though. "Oversee criminal prosecutions, corrections, enforcement of court orders." Given answer: N/A --> "In October 2013, Bush called for passage of immigration reform." WTF. Bush wasn't a governor then. He had no authority to oversee anything! He was a private citizen making a suggestion. But guess what? "I will be running a few of these same items back through tomorrow. Feel free to do the HITs again, just please respond with closest answer and your reasons in Comments." So the rest of y'all can do his too and get rejected! Aren't you excited? I'm so eager for another 10 or 20 rejections.
I type pretty fast. Those hits are still terrible Barely making 10-15 cents a minute, and thats with constant typing/thinking
After I typed, "The two slices of pizza in the northwest quadrant of the pizza", I figured it was about time to give up. That was after 3.
The final straw for me was the picture that was actually two absolutely *identical* pictures next to each other. And I was supposed to describe the woman in the one on the left. How in hell am I supposed to do that without basically saying "the woman in the picture on the left". "Do not say where the object with respect to the image, e.g. do not say the object is in the left corner." Right.
It says "with respect to the image" I think you're allowed to describe it with respect to another object I remember these hits being 7 cents a piece or something similar. How the hell did they drop to 2 cents
I did about 100 of the ones last night where you take someone else's description and click on the thing they are describing. All I can say is at 2 cents they are pretty much getting what they pay for. "The zebra with black and white stripes." Excellent, so that rules the one out with the sporty blue stripes and that one in the background in the elegant black and purple.
More than that? I thought they've been up for hours, if I had to guess at the # I saw earlier it was 17 or 19k and I'm not sure if that's what it topped off at.
