After the 4th. I was supposed to work this coming w/e on something but it can wait. Actually it can't, but that project was way behind before they even handed it to me. I am getting comp time for my hours worked on a 1:1 basis. Management said I was salary but the HR ombudsman said that while there was the expectations I'd have to work over it's not to be a weekly event. It used to be that my comp time had to be used within 2 weeks, this time I have a year - at the end of the year I'll lose it. I can deal with that.

yeah, vs a complaint system that goes into /dev/null. it's iffy working with them but due to this change they were ok with it. someone who i don't report to got involved, as she doesn't need to lose me right now.
My bro-in-law's work ended up extending his comp day limit, and he still had a hard time using them up. I guess that's better than the alternative, being unemployed, but not by much. It's nice to be needed, but it's stressed him and his family out way too much.
