41464 approved 30 rejected and nothing, I've long since given up dedicating any time towards hoping to get it or trying to figure out how to. If it happens neat
I'd start out with crowdsurf. In my opinion they have the best quality audio and you have a video to go along with the audio, which helps sometimes. Speechink and casting words are other companies, but they implement a bonus system so I wouldn't do those until you have a little experience. Claritrans is another one. These are the four main ones I can think of.

I'm working at learning this dvorak keyboard so I can do transcriptions here one day but right now it would be a disaster. lol
I like CrowdSurf, others like SpeechInk. But honestly, for transcription you might be better off getting an account on oDesk and applying for some of the quick turnaround stuff there. I've done a few jobs, and I like it for transcription. I think it's pretty common to build a relationship with the clients. Not like mTurk where we're faceless. Plus I always get to use Express Scribe.
I thought about learning how to do that....for about a second It's too hard to teach this old dog new tricks!!
Youll get there. Since I went full time ive been averaging 70-100 a day. Except for day. only 50$ LOwest in a while
I personally think Crowdsurf is the easiest one to start with because the clips are short. Make sure you read the transcription guidelines because sometimes the reviewers are picky (and really it sucks to get one to review that you have to basically redo, so it's hard to feel badly for the lazy sod who couldn't take the time to read the guidelines). They go slow at first, but as you get better they go more quickly and you can move on to some of the longer transcriptions with other companies. Sometimes it's super technical jargon, but Google is amazing. Just type in whatever jumbled nonsense your ears are hearing for the one technical term and suddenly Google knows that you meant to say Chi-Square Test of Homogeneity NOT Chisquaest of Homadgenity. You have to make sure that technical term actually makes sense in the context, but it works most of the time.
Don't do this HIT - I just wanted to share the name of the requester. Hilarious. Also, BAD TO. Title: View Health Info Requester: Ima J Persun [AE6GH8UXMRNUP] (TO) Description: Read Short Description Reward: $0.01
