Reason being, daytime seems so much more lucrative than the overnight shift...but sleeping at night? Ugh, how uncool.
You can start a thread for discussion about in the main section of the forum. I'm sure lots of people would have input.
Ohhhh man!! 1147 hits submitted / 941 approved.... Been doing redwoods out of desperation to hit 1k. *edit... Reading back from earlier and since I got a penny from your "whats you forum handle thingy", schtick here
Think it depends on if you're a day or night person. I've tried day shift for a couple weeks cuz everyone kept saying it was so much better. If your really into surveys maybe it is but I make less working days then I do nights. Part of the reason for me is I'm just not alert during the day. My brain moves slower my reaction time is slower. At night I can blaze through batches without a problem. I usually go to bed between 5am-10am. If it's dead at 5am I crash but if there is something good up then I'll stay up until it's gone.
Yea it does, the monitor recognizes the motherboard. Not the gfx card. computer runs and works fine otherwise.
I have found the best part of the day to turk is to get the early morning surveys 6am-10am roughly..then I usually get off for awhile because I don't typically see anything good from 10-2pm. Then from 2pm-7pm I usually linger around refreshing the page to see if anything pops up, and have my page monitor set and check when it dings. All times above in EDT.
There are so many transcriptions HITs available right now, if only I could overcome my hatred of trying to listening people go 'UH' for 10m I could get my goal knocked out
Howard Daniels has up a bunch of search and paste info type hits that are fast they pay a nickle each.
It depends how much you want to make. I stay up til 5 am, but I do other things as well. Tv, games, writing my script, etc. I meet my goal fairly well, most of my turking time is around noon - 2 pm and midnight - 2 am. (havent turked at all since i got my goal today) I do agree the best times to turk would be morning - afternoon though.
Who linked me to this? http://outlet.lenovo.com/SEUILibrar...orkflow:item.detail?GroupID=445&Code=59RF0313 Looking like a pretty good deal to me
It'll do that when it gets hot. I'm surprised it hasn't started automatically hibernating on you yet. When they get too hot, they'll usually go down to try and keep anything from frying. That's when it gets fun, because it will inevitably be when you're in the middle of something with a timer--HIT, timed test for an online class. Thanks, Obama.
