    Yeah...it was particularly annoying, because I skimmed the thing before I started filling it out, and it looked ok...then after wasting 2 mins filling out the top part, I see the "upload file" button.

    Yes, just set pandas/hit watchers by clicking "Watch this hit?" on a hit page (you'll see that option whether a hit is currently up or not). Remember to check off the "Stop on ACCEPT OMG?" option.
