What kind of nonsense is this? The proper response is clearly to escalate, if necessary call the SWAT on them, this will teach them the error of their ways and surely change their approach rather than cement their thinking even more so.

Getting them fired from their job is also a justified alternative, they won't be so eager to disagree with you once they can't eat, will they?

 

That's the proper way if they are not your friends.
