I think if you still search mturk the only things that show up usually are how bad it is, how it sucks, and that people are scammers there. Havent done it recently but yeah that still is up there.
Yeah c4c and pm monitor for and alert you to changes on any page. But what you could do is sort it by reverse chronological order, set posts per page to max, zoom out to 75%, snap the win to the side and make it skinny, and run Auto Refresh Plus on a 5-10sec interval. This becomes a feed of sorts, quite effective with an extra monitor
I got a similar response from a requester. She was really angry that I had the temerity to complain about a crap hit for crap pay.

Yeah mainly on why anyone would work for cents, which is why those choices seem like a proper range for them
I've been tempted many times to tell them just that but then you risk a hard block. I wish there were some way of avoiding that and yet being able to express to a requester that they're being unfair.

I agree. When it's slow I may often turn to Crowdsurf. I have a random question if anyone cares to read/ answer. About how long do you take per hit for Crowdsurf? Just wondering.

I try to average 1.5 to 2.5 minutes. If it starts to take more than 3 minutes, I either take a break or rethink the types of transcription I'm doing. I like them because they approve so quickly.
My read is mturk's not for dude or he has no checking, is trying to exchange (on his dime) to paypal which he does own, but I'll pm him about it

Yes me too! They always approve and pay so fast. I've down days were all I did is Crowdsurf. I keep thinking if I could do them fast enough I would rely on doing work for them mostly. I can transcribe in a minute, but then I may run into one or a few that are ridiculously long, or have a few words that I have to Google. Even if it gets into 2.5 minutes, I just think I'm taking way too long :/
