so I just feel like venting a little bureaucratic three ways are the fucking worst kind of three way so I order a computer on the 30th,get a response a day or two later that they can't process the order because my bank address doesn't match up to the address I want it shipped to. kind of annoying and I hadn't had any problems of that nature since I moved a few months ago paying bills and even having $400 worth of monitors(among other smaller things) shipped to that address, but whatever I guess I can understand how having a two thousand dollar purchase shipped could be different. anyways I changed the address and tell them that I changed it. I later get a response back that they are unable to verify the address change and that I should contact my bank and have them place a note on my account. I go ahead and do that and tell them that I did. Next response tells me that they tried to verify the address again and contacted the bank and customer service at the bank flat out told them that they could not locate any notes on my account giving them permission to verify it. I call a couple people at my bank and they tell me that they have no records of any failed attempts to verify anything. someone's fucking up and I don't even fucking know who
As bad as that is and I agree that it sucks, imagine that someone had stolen your card and filed a change of address and then ordered 1200 worth of computer parts and they gladly accepted your card without verifying your address? How much more pissed off would you be. I agree that situations like that can be annoying, but you obviously moved and now they are just trying to verify your address. Personally I would rather companies erred on the side of caution.
i had a netflix tech do star trek jokes back and forth with me for like ten minutes once.. now it feels cheap.
I feel your pain. I was just involved in a similar three way. I ended up having to wait a bit until it got resolved but I did save a few hundred bucks overall. Hope you get it taken care of quickly and happily. Just don't stop raising hell.
