Crowdsource has blocked me from doing two of their jobs (answer product question and tag images of clothing). In both cases before the blocks I received contradictory feedback, which I assume is because of their idiotic policy of having other MTurkers grade each other's work. When I attempted to adjust my work based on that feedback, it only resulted in MORE contradictory feedback and now I cant do the HITs, along with a message saying "your work doesn't meet our minimum quality requirements." What a load of ****.
It's not a soft block because the "answer a product question" ban has been in effect for two months. I doubt they even bother to check the "corrected" work, because for example that HIT tells reviewers to accept any HIT marked N/A. Yet I got a rejection because one of the reviewers didn't follow those instructions, and instead wrote "this information is readily available" for a HIT I labeled as N/A. Not only did HE not follow the rules, he didn't give any proof of the supposedly "readily available" information. So I followed the instructions, yet was rejected because he didn't follow them.
I haven't done their work in a year, but I never had a single issue with them. Crowdflower on the other hand is in fact terrible.
I still do them but mostly just the Google search Hits. I think they are great. Dont need to think too much and they accept quickly.
