Love the thread today So I made an account just because I'm so thrilled with what was happening this afternoon, it gave me boat loads of laughs =) I think I'll fit in around here =P
For those of you doing the lung cancer video HITs, have you had any that were "yes"? The only ones I've seen so far have been related to mesothelioma, which he doesn't want. I'm just curious.
It was $0.001, per second. How many times you clicked didn't have anything to do with it, other than that they'd cut you off if you failed to click. It was just to prove you payed attention to it.
Answer a few simple questions about a short story. Only 1-2 minutes John Turri Pay: $0.25 Very good TO https://www.mturk.com/mturk/searchb...searchWords=John+Turri&minReward=0.00&x=0&y=0
They paid me a different amount, significantly higher, for each click. Had I thought to turn on the radio or something before I started, I might have kept on for another ten minutes. And I know I read the amount correct because of the bonus confirmation at the end. Obviously, they are testing how cash affects motivation, and perhaps other things as well.
Yes. As long as it says "lung cancer", it will be approved. Doesn't matter if it mentions mesothelioma. It has to say mesothelioma AND lung cancer.
That kinda sucks, then (for me, not them). I got an 89 cent bonus after doing it for 15 minutes. I thought I was earning 9 bucks. I had intended to do it for much longer, but they actually cut me off at 899 seconds.
Can someone explain the Redwood HITs too me? The caption requirements review. The only thing I can click is the box that has "yes" or "no" bubbles but I can't change the bubble. It only changes from yellow to red. Not quite sure what I'm supposed to be doing :/
Now that I do the math, you could look at it this way--they weren't paying me more, you just got five times the work. Because we made the same amount per minute. But perhaps we are giving too much away.
Read the directions. Your are simply confirming if the answer is right or wrong. If you highlight it to be red, you are saying the answer is wrong.
You're not reviewing the caption, you're reviewing someone's review of the caption. If the radio button is set wrong, click it to indicate that. Otherwise, leave it alone.
