I just got an email that said MTurk Assignment for Worker (My number) Has anyone ever gotten something like this and is it generally safe? I haven't opened it.
I've gotten emails from requesters for other work but I don't remember what the subject specifically said. You should be able to figure out if it's legit or not pretty easily.
I got it also - it was from techlist, but it was routed through Amazon Mechanical Turk. It is actually the proper way for requesters to contact you.
