Today's Projected Earnings $12.26 I ran into some CrowdSource HITs - "Point and Click to Correct Bullet Points - Less Than 20 Seconds! (US)" that paid $0.10/HIT and managed to do 122 of them and one random $0.06 HIT. Keeping my eyes on my inbox for TurkAlert though!
822 hits here but all of em took under 10 seconds.. One of my favourite requesters posted today "April Konstatis" They only post like once every 3 months but when they do its such fast, easy money ;D
Well we had nearly an identical day then. 807 HITs completed for that $34.82. I also did a bunch of the Konstathis hits, plus a bunch of Andy K and Medallia. During down times I did a handful of writing hits for KJ Ross at 45 cents each.
$14.89 today, my second day so I got that in 100 hits... Yesterday I made (hypothetically) $6.45 so I am starting to get it I think...
That's great for your 3rd day. When I first started out I had no clue what I was doing, I struggled to top $5 on a GOOD day my first months. Projected Earnings for today is just over $7, but I was at my actual job all day and have only had an hour at most to turk today.
DAMMIT! The best days always happen on my longest work days. I don't work until 4 PM tomorrow, so I'm sure it will be dead. I did just churn out another couple dollars to bring my total to $9ish, so I can't be too upset. An extra $9 on top of my pay for an 11 hour work day. Plus I'm still on pace to shatter my all-time high week.
I can't wait until I can do more than a hundred per day. I have to watch mine carefully to get a good balance of higher paying hits to make money, at the same time I could be making twice this if I was able to do a hundred or two-hundred dime hits too... I'm a former writing tutor, these prompts are super easy (250 words in 2 min) but my God I feel like a sod compared to what I used to write in school.
I've had a really yucky week! Today, I've only managed a whopping $2.95. I missed out on some HITs while I was at the doctor's office, and nothing else has caught my eye. My writing ability has gone down the drain in recent years, so I try to stay away from the "rewriting" or "paraphrasing" HITs out of fear of getting a rejection for my sub-par attempts. I think my son stole my creativity from me in utero.
Lana, I was nervous at the beginning, too. The absolute best ones to "give it a shot" (in my opinion only, of course) are the Give a Summary in 50 to 100 Words type. Read an article (some are pretty interesting) and then come up with a few sentences letting someone know what they can find in the article. Mine are usually 55 - 65 words long. Just don't use a sentence that's already in the article. On Topic: I'm going to make about $7 today and that was a struggle. I don't do any surveys anymore at all ever -- they make my brain bleed.
I know I keep repeating myself, but once in awhile when you're turking search for KJ Ross. His don't even involve reading and article and summarizing, but simply reading a paragraph and then basically paraphrasing/rewriting that paragraph. Very, very simple and each hit pays 45 cents. Some of the paragraphs are even only 2 or 3 sentences, so you're basically being paid $.45 to write 50 words or so. Awesome rate, and if you do good work they will certainly be approved. I've probably done about 10 of these and never had a rejection.
