I'm seriously dying over here! lol I have only been turking for 2 days, but I see people who manage to smash out HUNDREDS hits per day? I have been doing this for more than a few hours each day and I haven't even reached 100 hits. What gives? Am I doing something wrong? I try to do the small ones that I can do quick to get my ratings up, but man, I dont know how some of you do it. Teach me!
You're limited in what you can do when you're first starting. Many HITs require that you have at least 500, 1000, 5000, 10000 etc hits submitted before you are qualified for them. Those of us who submit hundreds per day have enough hits submitted already that we meet pretty much any of these qualifications. Just keep doing the quick ones that you qualify for and you'll eventually get to the point where more quals are opened up for you.
Naw, it goes faster than you'd think. I've only been on mTurk since the middle of march, so almost 6 months. I work a full time job so I'm only a part-time turker, but I've still got 13,000+ HITs
Holy Cow! That is amazing! I am a stay at home mom with a lot of extra time to turk, it just seems like I am spending hours on here and my hits seem so low for as much time as I have spent!

I wasn't doubting you at all! More like envying you! Yeah, well I got told I did too many hits today and I couldn't do anymore til tomorrow, so there! I almost shit myself that I got to 100! I am sucky turker, apparently!
Oh once that limit is up push yourself to 1k+ approved and alot will open up for you. Redwood has a few different hits that are rejection free(they just wont let you do anymore if you screw up) and very fast. Once that limit is up do them when your not doing good hits and you will be there in no time.

lol! no we all go through that phase. I remember when I thought it was impossible to hit 100 not even 50 but when you get used to it 100 will be an super easy goal to make. You're actually doing really good to just be starting. keep it up!
