For the first time today, I noted that if I type the name and title as it is on the card, i.e., for example:

    oscar smith
    managing partner
    oscar project (as company)

It automatically changes to first letter capitals. This is SO annoying. Has anyone else experienced this today? Thanks.

Another question - when the card is wonky, I can get it straightened out, but when I go back to the entry part it doesn't reflect the change I made in the position of the card...any help there? Thanks.

It's sideways for instance. My neck gets stiff bending it, especially if it's an international card...LOL :)

It doesn't change that part. Only changes on the pop-out window.

Now I see what you mean. Yeah I hate that. I want it to stay where I put it when I go back to input the fields but it doesn't. Grr.

You do realize you are violating peoples privacy by posting the cards on a public forum. If he funds out you might not be able to work on his hits ever again.

Where was that done? Not that it really matters, as MTurk is just as public.

Yeah I am not seeing what you are seeing trueakitalover. His example was made up and it says Oscar Smith who happens to be the requester.

Unless you are going to type each card with one hand on two different keyboards, I don't see how. Just seems like it would make things a lot more difficult. I'd actually probably need 4 hands because I also use the computer mouse.

Think he means you can put the enlarged business card on one monitor and type in the info on the other monitor, one hit at a time. Not two at a time. Then when you go to the new hit and click the enlarge button it pops up in the same window the old business car was in. It makes it faster, but i still get slowed down with blurry cards.

How fast can you guys do oscar smith hits? Takes me a minute a hit. I type really fast, but entering the numbers slows me down If i had a proper numeral keypad on my lap top i could probably get it down to 45 seconds. Overall I think they are waste of my time, but I do them now and then when I am bored.

What I hate is that sometimes when I do the pop-out to see it properly it turns upside down instead of the other way. That's worse than sideways.

Depends, if I've ever done one in a minute or less it's probably been a repeat with no email/web address. There's one that keeps coming up like that. I think it has a Pittsburgh address. Usually it will take me about a minute and a half. Sometimes longer if I see something there that interests me. I ran across a card for a Chinese restaurant and when I was finished I went to their website.
