As a low volume but hopefully fair and decent requester, what do Turkers regard as a fair and realistic rate per minute for transcription of good quality audio - 15-30 minutes offered as a single HIT with a timescale of x8 real time or more.

I want to find a happy medium above the low paying sweatshops that Turkers regard as fair recompense for their work, dealing directly with a fast-paying and appreciative requester. I'd welcome you thoughts.

Seems to me that transcription ranges from 30c to 100c per min, usually the latter being for urgent or difficult jobs. I would imagine anywhere from 50c and up would be 'acceptable', depending on the difficulty of the audio and the urgency.

Keep in mind this is just an off the cuff assessment.
