So I referred a very good friend who is an experienced transcriptionist over to Speechink to make a couple of extra dollars for Christmas. Now she thinks I am nuts. Apparently she has done quite a few and was happy with her rating 99 for the first three, and so she continued and has from my understanding 5 in que. She didn't think much of it only because again it's present money. But boy is she ticked off right now! She tells me not only has she not gotten paid, but when she went to do some hits she found she was not qualified! Her rating went from 99 to 88 seemingly overnight!! She was not paid, there was no reason given ( can't imagine it had anything to do with her work because she has been a Medical and Legal Transcriptionist for several years). She pointed out that there are as of this A.M 250 transcriptions to be reviewed in que. As a result she started Googling and found some negative press, I wonder is SpeechInk having trouble paying now? Anyone else noticing this?
