My wife and I recently both started Turking. We both have seperate Amazon accounts, and bank accounts. However, I recently added her to my bank account as a joint owner. We don't have both of our seperate Amazon accounts paying into a single joint account. Her bank account is just in her name, but my account is in both of our names as of recently. Do I need to get another bank account that is in my sole custody to do this correctly within Amazon rules? Or, are we okay as is? Thank you for any direction.
It sounds like you are playing with fire either way. Sorry, that's the best I can tell you. If you have already been approved, I wouldn't start messing with it. No, you don't need to get a bank account in your name exclusively. I have been working under the same exact situations for over a year, the account I deposit to is joint, me and my wife. The account she deposits into is also a joint account, but from a different bank. So long as you don't try to deposit into the same bank account as her you will be A-ok.
