I just got my weekly worker report from Mturk, and it shows me as having a rejected HIT- but my dashboard doesn't reflect this, and no one has informed me of one being rejected. I've never had a rejection before, and now i'm paranoid- has this happened to anyone else? Is it possible Mturk's worker report is incorrect? My total rejection count Is still 0 on the dash, and I went through all the HITS from this week, there's no rejections. The only ones I thought I might be were writing HITS, but those were all paid, so the only pendings were simple survey type stuff.
I did email Mturk, but now i'm just kind of freaking out. Any one have experience with something like this?

You will not get a notification of a rejection via email. Perhaps you had a rejection and it was seen/reversed by the Requester before you had caught it. Amazon captures it, reports it in your Weekly Rpts and now you are left to wonder how it happened. Just my 2 cents. IDK :)

I'm sorry, I didn't mean email notification of the rejection, I meant there's no rejections when I go back and look individually through each of the jobs, not just the dashboard count. But i came across another post on an unrelated topic where someone mentioned they had the same thing happen- MTurk's report showed them having several rejections, but they had never gotten any- so i'm hoping maybe this was just a fluke. I suppose it's inevitable at some point that I'll get one, even If I'm being extra- careful, but I just hated seeing that when I haven't ever had one. My initial thinking was it must have been a writing hit, but those were actually already paid, so the oly thing it could have been was a survey, and I don't see how one of those would be rejected- I know i'm not doing repeats, b/c I keep a list of every HIT that i've done, with the requester's name, the pay, and a short description of what I did for them, just to avoid that. And whenever they ask for answers that aren't multiple choice, i write out thorough ones, so I just couldn't see how it was one of those. I'm probably freaking out over nothing ;P Thank you for the input though, much obliged :)
