My mom just had a wisdom pulled not long ago. She's in her early 70s. Not impacted, though. She felt a little pain the day of and didn't want to talk too much. Next day, she was totally fine as if nothing had happened. Back to her usual crazy self in under 24 hours.
I have had an abysmal turking day. I'm at $19.03 I'll just kick in a dollar, to put me past $20 before midnight (E.T), and i'll call it a night.
oh god honey that's awful. yeah. no. all the people I talked to who had it done when they were our age-ish said "omg omg OMG get an oral surgeon and if possible, one that only does wisdom teeth." which, I was surprised to find there are quite a few here. just a matter of managing the money. mine aren't bugging me right now and so I'm very much all "la la la nothing else will happen until I can deal with it better," for lack of better alternatives. you really should get that taken care of. you're lucky it hasn't gotten infected already, and that stuff's *serious* when it happens.
This and two more ProductRnRs puts me at $10! Goodnight turkers! Hopefully my recovery goes well and I'm not too sore tomorrow.
I have at least 4, none of which have come out more than slightly, and a small mouth. I am a wussypants but I do not want to think about what might end up being required to get them out of my jaw, at all. edit to point out that if they only needed pulling I wouldn't be as scared, but it's gonna be more complicated than that. :/
Yep after I had it done everyone was all "Wait. You did it without even being numb all the way?????" and then I heard "Oral surgeon. Period." It's been infected before. But I couldn't afford to get them removed. I haven't had an abscess thankfully since they apparently came out. I didn't even know they had come out at all. That's why I was surprised to learn that the broken molar was actually one of those! And it's sitting lower than my molar next to it so sometimes when I'm chewing I will hit it really hard. Making a reminder in my phone to call about that tomorrow. Stupid teeth. Also if you have a crowded mouth, it can be really damaging to your surrounding teeth as they keep trying to come through. Mine were working their way out since I was 23 every couple of months.
Owwwww. I know, right? I got four pulled when I was eight, because my dentist then was awesome and thought of these things. So other than the part where it seemed like said bastard teeth were getting infected a couple of months ago, it hasn't been that bad. Seriously though you'd think there'd be some instruction in some gene somewhere that'd say "oh, so this person has a tiny little mouth? okay, maybe let's not give them enough teeth for two people." Doesn't seem like that's the case,t hough.
What are you guys doing when the Fiber "type" isn't specified? I'm leaving it blank and letting them know in comments.
