I still use the old standby Update Scanner. I've never gotten on with Hit Scraper and Turkmaster is way too flashy for my taste.
I use hit scraper, but honestly since I'm only using mturk as supplemental income I haven't gotten really far into it. However, if the chance arose I wouldn't mind making mturk more than supplemental until I graduate college. I guess that's why I'm trying to get stuff to improve my efficiency.
Sure wish mturk was around when I was in college (PC's didn't even exist then, much less the internet). I worked some of the crappiest jobs imaginable when I was a student. Being able to work around your class/study schedule, when it was convenient for you, would have been the shit.
Well I found a job that works well with my schedule and college, but it's way underpayed. I use 9 programming languages here doing some scripts for servers, web design, run Audio for live shows, and various other things. For $8 an hour.
It could be worse, you could work for minimum wage in fast food or as a phone solicitor (a couple of my college jobs). Sounds like you're gaining a lot of skills and experience that will lead to much higher paying gigs when you're out of school.
Yeah, the experience is great. Yeah, last job I had was party city, and they stuck me outside on the side of the road in a suit. I was done with that.

Agreed. All that time playing video games. Sitting around coffee shops. Watching Brady Bunch marathons and other silly stuff.
One thing I like about John Smiths, I find a lot of random apps and games that I probly wouldn't have otherwise :]

If you're good with sales and decent with technology, you should try and get a sales job in telecoms. AT&T or Verizon as first choice, and if all else fails, Sprint or T-mobile. I've worked at two out of these 4 companies, and worked indirectly with the other 2, prior to that. This was all while in college. To make it work, i had to take as many of my classes as i could, online. If it was some elective class I'd rather not sit through, like poetry, then it goes online. However, i attended a traditional University, so many classes did not have online options, but just enough to make it work. Decent pay, decent benefits, and technology perks (e.g free cellphone + unlimited service). I didn't have a cellphone bill for many years. I don't think there is another industry where you can possibly make as much as you would in telecoms, before completing your Bachelor's degree.
