My mom pretty much lives off the news and weather channel and nothing that streams is very good for her.
We don't watch the news all day every day, so it works great for us. It's easy to use so my kids can use it without calling for me to change the show for them.

Yeah, my grandmother also lives off that stuff, and I've never found a streaming option that works for her.

I don't really care about up-to-the-minute shit, so I can catch the nightly news in the morning, if I feel like it. She needs news and weather around the clock, though.

 

Did all of our people in the middle of the blizzard make it through? I guess we'll know Monday when the work week starts back up. We're cold tonight but still no snow or anything. Heard that there were some flurries a mile away from me so we went out looking for them and never found them.

 

Does the amazon fire not get news apps or someway of watching the same news as cable? I guess I assume it would be through their official app or something? Or is it not even possible?
